The Westerlo Public Library will be closed on Monday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day.

Trustees meet

The board of library trustees will meet on Monday, July 11, at 7 p.m. at the library. This is an open public meeting.

Summer Reading Program

Our 2016 summer reading program will begin on Wednesday, July 6 the theme “Ready, Set, READ!” We will explore sports, games, and activities that promote good health and fitness with books, science experiments, art projects, and other activities.  Registration is ongoing and a full calendar of events is available at the link on our website – www.westerlolibrary.org.

STEM program

On Tuesday, July 12, at 6 p.m., Eileen M. DePaula, 4-H program educator from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County, will present a special 4-H STEM program.   

Technology Walk-In Wednesdays

Do you have a new smartphone or tablet, but don’t know how to download e-books?  Need to brush up on your computer skills  or obtain basic skills?  See Amy on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for free, personalized, one-on-one instruction.
