The Third Thursday Book Club will meet on July 21 at 6 p.m. to discuss “The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell” by Robert Dugoni. Copies are available at the library.
Walk and Book Talk
The Westerlo Library has a Walking Group. We meet at the library, Wednesdays at 9 a.m. starting June 22 and Tuesdays at 6 p.m. starting June 28. All are welcome to walk! Bring a water bottle and book suggestions.
Summer Reading
Coming in July! Summer programs are coming soon. On July 12, 19 and 26 at 10:30 a.m, there will be Messy Play in the Westerlo Town Park, followed by Coffee Connect for parents at 11:30 a.m. On July 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 6 p.m., there will be STEAM activities. July 6 and 13 activities are put on by 4H.
StoryWalk is back
Come see the Westerlo Public Library’s StoryWalk in the Westerlo Town Park. Walk in the park and read “Sheep in a Jeep” by Nancy Shaw.
July Spice
Take-and-Make
The July spice is black pepper. Pick up a sample and three recipes at the library. This month’s recipes are Lemon Dill Orzo with Snap Peas, Black Pepper Cultured Butter Biscuits, and Black Pepper Beef Stir Fry.

July and August’s theme for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) take-and-makes is “Oceans of Possibilities” There are new kits every week.
