Third Thursday
Book Club
The July book club picks are “We Were the Lucky Ones” by Georgia Hunter and “The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek” by Kim Michele Richardson. Request one or both of the books and then join us on July 15t at 6 p.m. to discuss. There are a few reserved copies in the library. We will meet outdoors weather permitting.
Spice Take-and-Make
The spice for July is dill. Pick up a sample of dill and three recipes to try. This month’s recipes are Lemon Chickpea Orzo Soup, Creamy Dill Cucumber Salad, and Easy One Pan Dill Lemon Baked Salmon.
Pandemic Globe Project
Calling all artists, writers, and poets! The Pandemic Globe project is ongoing.
The library has received some beautiful and interesting submissions and would love to have more. The plan is to keep taking submissions up until Labor Day. Then the globe will be assembled. If you would like to participate, stop by the library and pick up a plate (or more!) to create on.
