Westerlo Library Notes for Wednesday, March 31, 2021

Lisa Wingate brings to life stories from actual “Lost Friends” ads that appeared in Southern newspapers after the Civil War, as newly freed slaves desperately searched for loved ones who had been sold away. The Westerlo Library’s Third Thursday Book club will discuss the novel.

The Westerlo Library is open for limited browsing. There is a limited capacity of four patrons at a time and a time limit of 30 minutes. Face coverings and social distancing are still required.

Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2 to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Porch pick-up is still available.
