The Homespun Community Dancers will get everyone involved, especially those who have not danced before. Participants will have fun with the easy-to-learn American barn dance favorites: circles, squares, contras, as well as folk dances from around the world, including Ireland, The Netherlands, Russia, Polynesia, Israel, Latin America, France, Scandinavia, China and Africa. The toe-tapping tunes consist of reels, jigs, polkas, hornpipes and waltzes. Instruments include fiddle, banjo, flute, penny whistle, clarinet, guitar, recorder, and percussion. While participation in the dancing is encouraged, it's also fun to just watch and listen. Please register.
