Talk & Taste Cookbook Club

Join us from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23, for a foodie journey as we talk and taste our way through a cookbook. The choice for January is “Magnolia Table” by Joanna Gaines. Cookbooks are available to purchase for $5 or you can borrow a library copy. Program registration is requested. 

Family Winter STEAM

On Saturday, Jan. 11, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., children ages 3 to Kindergarten with caregiver will explore, play and learn at a STEAM program. Think cold, think cool, think chilly winter fun! Join Ms. Amy and Ms. Lisa for a snow-tastic day of winter themed STEAM! Stations may include snowman shape matching, playing with snow-dough, making a neat optical illusion called a Thaumatrope, and as a special treat, ice cream making! It's never too cold for that!  Please register.

Toddler Yoga

Bring your toddler and join us for a fun, creative and playful free yoga class, from 6 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14. Toddler Yoga & Music allows the youngest of beginners to use their imaginations as they learn simple yoga poses, playful breathing exercises and relaxation. The class incorporate songs, musical instruments, and games as an introduction to Yoga. Tricia Kandefer is a certified yoga instructor, who specializes in working with young children and families. For toddler ages 22 months through 3-years-old with parent/caregiver. Please register

Cutting the Cable Cord

Find out if cutting the cable cord is the right move for you! Participants will learn the basics of cutting cable, including how to access broadcast television, what equipment you need and popular streaming services. There are 2 classes available; 1 to 2 p.m. or 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., both on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Please register for the one that is most convenient for you.

Teen Improv​ Comedy Workshop

Like to laugh, and make others laugh, too? Then you’ll enjoy the Comedy Workshop, led by comedy writer Sandy McKnight. Learn how to start with funny concepts, characters, situations and punchlines. Then put the sketches into action. We'll also watch some classic sketches for ideas and giggles. Students in grades 6 and up are invited to join us on Friday, Jan. 24, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Please register.

Sketch Comedy Workshop for Adults

Join Sandy McKnight, head writer for Saturday Night Liv (w/Liv Cummins) and many other shows, from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24. If you like to laugh, and make others laugh too, then this will be a workshop you do not want to miss. Some people will gravitate to the writing side, others may love to do the acting, and some will want to do it all. Whichever role you choose, you're bound to have fun. Please register early as space is very limited.
