Schoharie Library Notes for Thursday, December 20, 2018

The Schoharie Library story time with Vanessa Repicky is held on Fridays at 10 a.m. throughout the school year. The theme for Dec. 21 is Welcome Winter.

There will be no story time on Dec. 29. December 29:

Writing Club meets Mondays, January 7 & 21, 6-8:30pm. If you like to write, and you want to share & discuss writing with others, this group is for you!

Knit, Crochet & Needlework Club: Tuesdays, January 8 & 22, 10:30am-12 noon. Bring a project, start something new, or learn to knit/crochet with this friendly group. Knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarn are available at the library. The club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Social Media Marketing 101: Thursday, January 10, 6pm. Learn how to promote your book, business, organization, events, or products using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more! Presenter: Sarah McFadden, Rensselaer County Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Read with Gracie: Thursday, January 10, 3:30-4:30pm. Gracie loves a good story, especially when a young friend reads to her. She’s a friendly goldendoodle therapy dog, and all are welcome to stop in and visit her.

Minecraft Club will be on break for the winter, and will meet again in March.

The Schoharie Library will be closed December 22-26 and December 30-January 2.
