Schoharie Library Notes for Tuesday, December 1, 2020
The Schoharie Library welcomes patrons into the library. Our hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The library is closed on Friday, Dec. 25, for Christmas and on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, for NewYear’s Day.
Patrons are required to wear a mask to enter the library and staff will wear masks at all times.

Cathy Caiazzo Week
The Library Board has proclaimed Cathy Caiazzo Week at the library December 7 to 12. Library Director Cathy Caiazzo is retiring at the end of December, and we will miss her! Please join in by dropping by the library to wish her well and celebrate her accomplishments. There will be a craft to go activity for children, a gingerbread house raffle, and a box to drop off cards for Cathy!
Online Programs
The online programs include:
— Online Interactive Storytime with Miss Heather: Fridays at 10 a.m. Stories, crafts, songs, more;
— Online Writing Club: Meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m.;
— Online Knitcetera Club: Tuesdays, Dec. 8 and 22, 10:30 a.m.;
— Online Life Drawing - Portrait Study Class: Tuesday, Dec. 8, 7 to 9 p.m. Learning to draw the face from memory, from replicated media, and from a live model. This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered in Schoharie County by Greene County Council on the Arts dba CREATE Council for Resources to Enrich the Arts, Technology & Education;
— Visiting on the Spectrum: Tuesday, Dec. 15, 4 p.m. Come join us online for a fun social connection for teens & young adults "on the spectrum"! Think of a joke or a hobby that you can show and tell! Facilitator: Kimberlee Culver, LCSW; and
— Online UFO (Unfinished Object) Club: Thursday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m. Make progress on your project!
