Schoharie Library Notes for Wednesday, November 11, 2020

The Schoharie Library welcomes patrons back into the library. Our hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Patrons are required to wear a mask to enter the library and staff will wear masks at all times.

Return books in book-drop. Details about the library’s reopening plan and curbside pickup can be found on the library website, www.schoharielibrary.org

StoryWalk 

Miss Heather’s “Wacky Wednesday” StoryWalk and activity sheets are available outside the Schoharie Library! StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Online Programs

— Online  Interactive Storytime with Miss Heather: Fridays at 10 a.m. Stories, crafts, songs, more;

— Online Writing Club meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m.;

—  MiSci Virtual Program: Insect Invasion! Tuesday, Nov. 17, 4 p.m. Observe a vast world of insects and build your own model of a popular arthropod contact to sign up, then pick up your kit at the Schoharie Library;

— Online Books & Chocolate Book Club: Tuesday, Nov. 17, 6:30 p.m.. Grab a cup of hot chocolate and tune in to chat about what books you’ve enjoyed;

— Online UFO (Unfinished Object) Club: Thursday, Nov. 19, 10a.m.; 

— Online Crazy Quilting with Betty Fikes Pillsbury: Saturdays, Nov.  21 and Dec. 5 10 a.m. to noon. Make an embellished Crazy Quilt heart in time for the holidays! One more kit is available at the library. Contact to sign up.
