Schoharie Library Notes for Wednesday, October 9, 2019

Story time with Miss Heather at the Schoharie Library is every Friday at 10 a.m.

On Oct. 11 the theme is Boats; on Oct. 18, it’s Friendly Monsters; and on Oct. 25, it’s Playing Dress-up.

We’ll have stories, crafts, games, and more! Children must be  accompanied by a responsible adult.

Read to a Dog

Come Read with Ariel on Friday, Oct. 11, from 3:30- to 4:30 p.m. Reading to a therapy dog is a fun way for kids to enhance reading skills!

Library closed

The library will be closed on Monday, Oct. 14 in observance of Columbus Day.

Writing Club

On Monday, Oct. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.writers of all ages are welcome! Bring your fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc. to share, discuss and critique. 

Knitcetera Club

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m. come knit, crochet, embroider, quilt — join this fun, creative group! 

Costume Party

Join us for the Halloween Costume Party with Emily and Ariel on Friday, Oct.  25, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. There’s a costume parade, games, stories, and snacks!

Make a Card

Make a Card or Flyer on the Computer: Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to noon. Please bring a laptop if possible. Registration appreciated online or by phone at  518-295-7127. This project is supported by funds from the New York State Library’s Adult Literacy Library Services Program.
