Garden Meals

 On Thursday, Sept. 12, from 4 to 5 p.m.join us for  “Simply Delicious: Meals from Farm & Garden,” to be held  with facilitator: Allyson Wyman, the Nutrition Program Educator, Cornell Cooperative Extension Schoharie & Otsego Counties. Register by Sept. 9 online or at 518-295-7127.

Storytime

On Sept. 13 Storytime returns to the Schoharie Library. Every Friday at 10 a.m. enjoy stories, crafts, games, and more! Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Read with Ariel

On Fridays, Sept. 13 and 27, from  3:30 to 4:30 p.m. come Read with Ariel. Reading to a therapy dog is a fun way for kids to enhance reading skills! 

Opioid Program

Monday, Sept.16, 6:30 to 8 p.m. join us for  Responding to Opioid Overdose with the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) is offering this free training in the use of naloxone (Narcan) to reverse suspected overdoses in New York counties. Participants will learn to recognize, respond to and reverse a suspected opioid overdose using naloxone. Sponsored by the Schoharie Library and  Scho-Wright Ambulance Service. Writing Club

On Mondays, Sept. 16 and 30, from  6 to 8 p.m. the Schoharie Library Writing Club will meet.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. “The Write Stuff” Writing Conference*, with author Coleen Paratore; remote Q&A with fantasy author Elizabeth Bear.
