Join us for Discovery Tuesdays, which run from July 6 to Aug. 10, weekly at 10 a.m. on the library porch or lawn.

These are our in-person programs:

— Life Drawing Classes: Thursdays,  July 8, and 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the library lawn. The classes for those 10 and older are free of charge; registration is required. Joel Bramer is the instructor.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered in Schoharie County by the Greene County Council on the Arts doing business as CREATE, Council for Resources to Enrich the Arts, Technology and Education;

— Owl Ecology: Learn about owls on Tuesday, July 13, at 10 a.m. Dissect an owl pellet to see what they eat, too! Presenter:naturalist George Steele; and

— Knitcetera: Tuesdays, July 13 and 27 at 10:30 a.m.

These are our virtual programs:

— Writing Club: Monday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m.;

— UFO (unfinished object) Club: Thursday, July 1, at 10 a.m.; and

— Computer Gaming — Keeping Kids Safe: Wednesday, July 7, at 7 p.m. We will discuss parental controls, privacy settings, and ways to tell your kids to look out for online predators. We will also discuss how to mitigate cyberbullying and prevention techniques. Aneesa Hussain and Ajran Hussain will facilitate the discussion. This project is supported by funds from the New York State Library’s Adult Literacy Library Services Program.
