Knitcetera Club

On Tuesdays, July 2 and 23, at 10:30 a.m., knit, crochet, embroider, or quilt — join this fun, creative group.

The Rubber Band in Concert

Monday, July 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., blast off to Summer Reading with lively Cajun music, make-your-own sundaes, kids’ activities, summer reading sign-ups, and more — all free!

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts administered in Schoharie County by The Greene County Council on the Arts.

Giant Walk-through Solar System

On Tuesday, July 9, at 10 a.m., walk through a tunnel of planets and stars to learn about our solar system. All ages are welcome.

PJ Story Time with Ariel

On Thursday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m., bring a stuffed animal and snuggle with Ariel, a cute and friendly therapy dog, while Emily Toung reads some great stories. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Moon-landing anniversary

NASA 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 Moon Landing Live Webcast will be shown on Monday, July 15, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Celebrate with activities and refreshments; webcast starts at 4 p.m.

Writing Club

On Monday, July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., writers of all ages are welcome to bring their fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc. to share, discuss, and critique.

Water Rockets

On Tuesday, July 16, at 10:30 a.m., bring a 2-liter soda bottle to the library and, using simple supplies, turn it into a water rocket — see how far it goes! A towel is suggested. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Owl Club

On Monday, July 22, at 4 p.m.,join the Owl Club.

How do owls get so smart? They hang out in libraries and read books, of course!

Owl Club is a chance for kids to talk about the books they like, what they would change if they were the author, and more.

Animals of the World

On Tuesday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m., will there be real, live wild animals in the library? Absolutely! Learn  about species from all over the world with wildlife educator Bernie Hoffman.

Read to Aerial

On Friday, July 26, at 10:30 a.m., join Emily Toung and her therapy dog, Ariel, for a special story time!

Regular storytime is on break until September, but we have other special events and stories over the summer.
