The Schoharie Library is offering these programs:

— Quilts in Bloom: June 8 through July 6. Quilts made by the Schoharie Valley Piecemakers and other local quilters are on display in the library;

— Teen Thursday@YourLibrary: Thursdays, from 5 to 7 p.m. Share book and reading recommendations, play games, craft your own projects, more;

— Story Time with Miss Yvonne: Fridays at 10 a.m. Stories, songs, fun activities;

— Knitcetera at the Library: Tuesday, June 21, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Quilt, embroider, knit, crochet — anything goes;

— Celebrate Summer Reading with The Rubber Band: Tuesday, June 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy great Cajun music, games, books, ice-cream sundaes, and summer reading signups. All ages are welcome!

— Discovery Tuesday — Pond Exploration: June 28, at 10 a.m. Learn about aquatic invertebrates with George Steele, and search through water samples to find and observe small creatures close up. No registration is necessary;

— Dive Deeper Thursday: June 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. Ages 10 and up;

— Respect for All — LGBTQ+: Thursday, June 30, at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom or at the library. Join our presenters to learn more about what LGBTQ+ stands for, as well as how to support your LGBTQ+ friends, families and colleagues. They will share practical tips on how to interact respectfully with someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community as well as offer resources for further learning and connection to community.
