Tech help

Online tech help is available on Wednesdays, May 13, 20, and 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Do you have questions about using a program, taking out e-books, creating a document or spreadsheet, or anything else related to basic computer use? Check in with us and we’ll do our best to help! E-mail for an appointment, or sign up on the online form.

Story time

Join Miss Heather for online story time on Fridays at 10 a.m. for interactive stories, songs, and activities. The theme for May 15 is Mysteries and Secret Agents. The theme for May 22 is Bedtime and PJs.  Have paper, crayons, and scissors ready. Remember to sign up ahead so we can send you the link to join!

Writing Club

Every Monday at 6 p.m., join the Online Writing Club, a great chance to share and discuss your work with other writers!

Zoom

How to Use Zoom Online will be taught on Wednesday, May 20, at 10 a.m. Get more savvy with video, microphone, screen sharing, hosting a meeting, adjusting privacy or security settings, and more!

This project is supported by funds from the New York State Library’s Adult Literacy Library Services Program.

More online

Online library activities include:

— “UFO” Unfinished Object Club, Thursday,  May 21, at 3 p.m. It’s always easier to work on a project when you’ve got company! Maybe we'll even finish something;

— Knitcetera Club meets Tuesday, May 26, at 10:30 a.m. Share knitting, crocheting, quilting, and embroidery projects, catch up with friends, enjoy some connection; and

— Books & Chocolate Book Chat: Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m. Join us in cyberspace to talk about books you’ve enjoyed and share ideas for future reading! You’ll have to provide your own chocolate for now — maybe we can share recipes, too!
