Online Programs

All our regularly scheduled programs are currently meeting online via Zoom. Here’s what we have scheduled for the coming week:

— Our interactive Online Storytime meets at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 26. This week Miss Heather will highlight the letter X and read from the Daniel Tiger book Daniel’s Marching Band, which--you might have guessed--includes a xylophone;

— Join us on Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m. to learn about Pysanky, the art of Ukrainian Easter Egg decoration. This session, hosted by Laura Boggs Gagnon, will demonstrate how wax, dye, and heat are used to create beautiful designs;

— We’ll have a busy evening on Monday, March 29 with meetings of two of our regularly-scheduled clubs. The Writing Club meets at 6:30 p.m. and, in a separate Zoom meeting, the Young Adult Advisory Council will convene at 7 p.m.;

— On Tuesday, March 30, Sally Ziegler will present another in her series of workshops focused on arts and crafts projects inspired by different cultures from around the world. This week Miss Sally will guide participants in the process of making traditional Alaskan Spirit Wheel masks. Sign-up online, then stop by the library to pick up a Take-and-Make kit with the craft supplies you’ll need; and

— Our UFO (Unfinished Objects) Club meets again at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 1. (No fooling!)
