Middleburgh Library Notes for Thursday, December 20, 2018

The Middleburgh Library will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 or the Christmas holiday.

Movie

On Dec. 26 at 1 p.m. join us for the family film "The House with a Clock in Its Walls" rated PG.  A young orphan named Lewis Barnavelt aids his magical uncle in locating a clock with the power to bring about the end of the world. No registration required. Free popcorn!

Tai Chi and Qigong

On Dec. 28 from 10 to 11 a.m. come to the library for Tai Chi with Earl O'Bryan. Tai Chi and Qigong, from China, is the cultivation of human energy. Gentle slow movements, strengthen the body and calm the mind. These practices have been used for agility, balance, cognition and longevity.  Suggested donation is $5. Please use back entrance as the library is closed on Fridays.

Library hours

On Dec. 31 the library will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. and the library will be closed Jan. 1, 2019 for New Year’s Day.
