Middleburgh Library Notes for Friday, October 28, 2016
On Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 10:45 a.m. get ready to move in this interactive story time designed especially for children up to age 5 and their caregivers. We'll read books, sing songs, recite fingerplays, dance, and watch a short movie based on a weekly theme. No registration is required.
Mahjong
On Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. men and women are invited to the library for a get together in the community room to play Mahjong. Don't know how to play? They will teach you how. No problem. No registration is required.
Insight meditation
On Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 5:15 p.m. join us for a simple group Zazen meditation practice. All are welcome. No registration is required.
Chair yoga
On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. join us for chair yoga with Vicki DeGroff. Donation for the class is $5. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga. Please use the back entrance.
Discovery Wednesdays
On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. you never know what Miss Andrea will come up with in her discovery Wednesday. Art, science, stories, and more in this interactive program for ages 3 and up and their caregivers. Registration is required
Wednesday matinee
On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. join us for a movie with free popcorn.
Kundalini Yoga
On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. join us for Kundalini Yoga. It involves repetitive movements with the breath, building strength, toning the nerves, and clearing the adrenal glands. Wear comfortable clothing and bring two blankets or a mat and blanket. A $5 donation is requested. Please use the back entrance when entering the building. No registration is required.
Knitting circle
On Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. the friendly ladies knit and crochet, embroider, and quilt, and more. You can learn a new skill here or share your own special talents with others or just craft in the company of friends. Drop in anytime. No registration is required.
Board games
On Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. join us for some fun and different adult board games
Concert
On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. come enjoy a concert "Still Holler."
