Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience. We welcome those with no experience to advanced mediators', teens to seniors so give it a try. No registration is required. There is no fee. All are welcome.

The art of crazy quilting

On Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. join us for The History of Crazy Quilting and Trunk Show. We will delve into the art of crazy quilting with award winning quilter and author Betty Fikes Pillsbury. Using antique quilts and other textiles, Betty discusses the rage that swept late 1800s America – the crazy quilt. Then, using her work as examples, Betty shows how crazy quilting is alive and well in the world today. Please bring your vintage crazy quilts to share. Registration is required. A $5 donation is suggested at the door.

Not all of programs have been scheduled at time of printing. Please check our Calendar on our website at  www.middleburghlibrary.info. for future programs.
