Middleburgh Library Notes for Wednesday, September 16, 2020

Stay at Home Storytime will be held online on Sept. 22 at 10:45 a.m. Children up to age 5 and their caregivers can join Miss Terry for a fun, interactive story time. We will read stories, sing songs, play games, and participate in activities around a weekly theme.

This week’s theme is all about books and libraries! Registration is required. This storytime will take place on the Zoom platform. Register here: https://tinyurl.com/y6fly8vu. Once you register you will receive the Zoom join link.

   Virtual Insight Meditation

On Sept. 22 at 5:15 p.m. our popular Insight Meditation group is meeting virtually!

What do you want most deeply? Seeing your life calmly and clearly helps answer this. Insight Meditation is a simple way to steady your mind, stop wandering in day-dreams, and end the suffering of troubling thoughts. Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience. We welcome those with no experience to advanced mediators', teens to seniors. We will be using the Zoom platform for our meetings for the time being. Registration is required to receive the join link. You can use a computer/laptop, tablet or phone to access the meeting. Register here: https://tinyurl.com/ybuf2xcq,
