David and Jenny Heitler-Klevans, an award-winning husband-and-wife duo, Two of a Kind, love bringing people together and building community through music. Their beautiful harmonies accompanied by David’s powerful, rhythmic guitar-playing and Jenny’s multi-ethnic percussion instruments create magic on stage.

David taught music to children and adults from 1982 to 1996. He has a degree in composition from Oberlin Conservatory and has Orff Certification Levels I and II. He was a music specialist in schools in the Philadelphia area for many years and taught music theory at Settlement Music School.

Jenny has been singing and dancing all her life. She taught dance at camps and sang in the Anna Crusis Women’s Choir for four years. She also teaches music in pre-schools. Jenny has a master’s degree in public health and a background in training, education, and creative writing.

This project is made possible with funds from the decentralization program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Andrew M. Cuomo and the NYS Legislature and administered in Schoharie County by the Greene County Council on the Arts.

Virtual Insight Meditation

On Aug. 25 at 5 p.m. our popular Insight Meditation group is meeting virtually!

What do you want most deeply? Seeing your life calmly and clearly helps answer this. Insight Meditation is a simple way to steady your mind, stop wandering in day-dreams, and end the suffering of troubling thoughts. Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience. We welcome those with no experience to advanced mediators', teens to seniors. We will be using the Zoom platform for our meetings for the time being. Registration is required to receive the join link. You can use a computer/laptop, tablet or phone to access the meeting. Register here:  https://tinyurl.com/ybuf2xcq,
