Stay at Home Storytime

On July 13 at 10:45 a.m. join Miss Terry for a fun, interactive storytime for children 0-5 and their caregivers. We will read stories, sing songs, play games and participate in activities around a weekly theme. This storytime will take place on the Zoom platform. Please register to get the join link.

Virtual Insight Meditation

On July 13 at 5:15 p.m. our popular Insight Meditation group is meeting virtually! What do you want most deeply? Seeing your life calmly and clearly helps answer this. Insight Meditation is a simple way to steady your mind, stop wandering in day-dreams, and end the suffering of troubling thoughts. Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience. We welcome those with no experience to advanced mediators', teens to seniors. Registration is required. Please go to our website to register and receive the Zoom link.

Cryptozoology

On July 14 at 1 p.m. join us and Make a Mermaid or Dragon Tail on the library’s back lawn.  Cryptozoology is the study of animals that are rumored to exist like the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot. We'll talk about mythical animals and then you can choose to make a mermaid tail or a dragon tail to take home!  This program is for kids going into grades 3 to 5. Registration is required.

Please check our calendar on our website at www.middleburghlibrary.info for future programs.  Also, don't forget our Facebook page.
