On Saturday, July 2, from 2 to 10 p.m. join us for board games for adults. Maybe you will play a game you have never seen before. Registration is suggested.
Library schedule
On Monday, July 4 the library will be closed to observe the Independence Day holiday.
Story time
On Tuesday, July 5, at 10:45 a.m., come to the library for story time. This fun and interactive program is meant for children up to age 5 and their caregivers, although older siblings are always welcome. We read books, sing songs, play games, dance ,and watch a short movie based on a weekly theme. No registration is required.
Insight Meditation
On Tuesday, July 5, at 5:15 p.m. join us for a simple group Zazen meditation practice. All are welcome. No registration is required..
Crafternoon
On Wednesday, July 6, at 1 p.m. we're cleaning out the craft cupboards and letting kids create with all kinds of craft material. Let's see what you come up with. This program is appropriate for kids going into kindergarten through grade five. Registration is required.
Teen game night
On Wednesday, July 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. we're kicking off our teen program with Teen Game Night. Hang out with us and play some games on the XBOX 360. Or, play some board games such as King of Tokyo, Forbidden Island, and Apples to Apples. Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be provided. This program is appropriate for kids going into sixth grade and up. Registration is required
Bubble makers
On Thursday, July 7 at 3:30 p.m., let's test our bubble making skills. Can we add ingredients to make our bubbles bigger and more amazing? Perhaps have a contest of biggest bubble? Or we could just hangout and make bubbles together while enjoying some bubbly flavored seltzer and snacks. Bring your camera or phone to take some cool pictures of the bubbles you and your friends create. This program is appropriate for kids going into sixth grade and up. Registration is required.
Knitting Circle
On Thursday, July 7 at 7 p.m., the friendly ladies (men are welcome, but we haven't seen any yet!) knit and crochet, embroider and quilt, and more. You can learn a new skill here or share your own special talents with others or just craft in the company of friends. Drop in anytime. No registration is required.
Dinner and a movie
On Friday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m. join us for our popular dinner and a movie event, just for families. The movie is "Zootopia" rated PG. The library provides the pizza and drinks and you bring a snack or dessert to share. For children and their parents or caregivers. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is appropriate for elementary school children. Registration is required
