Wednesday Matinee
On March 23 at 1 p.m. join us for a showing of "The Courier" (PG-13). The United States sits on a terrifying precipice, and one unlikely British man is charged with the task of pulling it back from the brink of destruction. No registration required.
Hand Painted Tiles
On March 24 at 4 p.m. Our Crafts Around the World series with local artist Sally Ziegler continues this month with hand painted tiles! Learn about beautiful tiles from Portugal, then decorate your own ceramic tile. You may also decorate a foam board tile to display at your library! Kits are available at the library, then participate in the Zoom program and work on the project at home or register to participate from the community room of the library with your friends. Preserve your important documents
On March 26 at 11 p.m. Preserving Family Photos & Documents. Do you have old family photographs, letters, diaries, or other precious items that you would like to preserve? This presentation will discuss how to properly preserve your family’s important documents and photos. It will also provide tips on how to store, display, label, and handle these materials. Preserving these materials will assist family members, now or in the future, to retrace and reconstruct your family history. This program is presented by Marietta Carr, the librarian at the Schenectady County Historical Society. Registration is required and space is limited.
