Middleburgh Library Notes for Wednesday, March 3, 2021
We are opening our doors to patrons. You can come in and browse the stacks, use the computer, print, make copies, or fax at half-hour blocks. We will continue to provide curbside service.
Please note: We can have only 10 people inside the library at a time. At this time, there is no seating and no use of public restrooms. Masks are required at all times while in the library and gloves (provided) must be used handling books. We look forward to seeing you!
Board meets
On March 8 at 6 p.m. the Library Board of Trustees will meet. This meeting is open to the public.
Storytime
On March 9 at 10:45 a.m. join Miss Terry for Drop in-Storytime online. A fun, interactive storytime for children 0-5 and their caregivers. We will read stories, sing songs, play games and participate in activities around a weekly theme. Registration is required. Once you register you will receive the Zoom join link.
Virtual Insight Meditation
On March 9 at 5:15 p.m. our popular Insight Meditation group is meeting virtually!
What do you want most deeply? Seeing your life calmly and clearly helps answer this. Insight Meditation is a simple way to steady your mind, stop wandering in day-dreams, and end the suffering of troubling thoughts. Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience.
