Middleburgh Library Notes for Thursday, February 27, 2014
On Feb. 27 at 7 p.m., Philip Potak, a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, will give a concert, “Play Reading” at the Middleburgh library.
His newest play, Heir Apparent, is a two-character piece that re-visits his running theme of family and how that concept cannot be defined simply, with a white picket fence.
Tickets are available at the door. A $10 donation is suggested. Please use the library’s back entrance.
Dinner and a movie
Pm Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m., Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, will be screened.
The library will provide pizza, salad, and drinks and you bring a dessert to share! Please note that this movie is rated PG-13 and is not suitable for young children. Registration is required.
Grown-up board games
On March 1, from 4 to 10 p.m., local board gamers Mal Martin and Jeremy Strickland will be hosting a board gaming session for adults.
