Hundred Author Story
Join us on March 7 at 1:30 p.m. for The Hundred Author Story. Do you like to write? Do you have some great ideas for a story? Check out our Hundred Author Story novel with your library card. The first page is written, you have 5 days to write the next page or two, then return the book to the library for someone else to add to your story. Once the book is filled it will be added to the library's collection and be available for check out. This program is for adults, if you're interested in checking out the book to write in, we can reserve it for you or just stop in and see if it's available!
Book Discussion
On March 10 at 1 p.m. join our Afternoon Tea & Book Discussion of "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens. Join our book club for a spirited discussion and enjoy tea and treats while we talk. For a copy of the book please order online through your library account or call 518- 827-5142 and we will request a copy for you. No registration required.
Considered by many to be Dickens' finest novel, Great Expectations traces the growth of the book's narrator, Philip Pirrip (Pip), from a boy of shallow dreams to a man with depth of character.
