Jan. 7 is the day to register for our first annual Homeschool Science Fair. All homeschoolers in kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to join in. It will be a fun noncompetitive fair.

All kids will receive an award and the public is invited to walk through, explore, and ask questions. Set-up begins at 11 a.m. on Jan. 28 and the fair runs from noon to 2 p.m. that day.

Some basic rules: No fire or explosions, no toxic or dangerous chemicals or animals, and nothing really messy — you’re expected to clean up after yourself!

Projects can be simple or complicated.

Students can share typical projects using the scientific method, research projects, constructed items, or field notebooks and discoveries. Registration is required by Jan. 7.

If you have any questions, please email Rebecca: ryoung@mvls.info.

The first 30 kids to sign up will receive a free tri-fold display board for their science fair display!
