Guilderland Library Notes for Wednesday, January 8, 2020
Our next GPL Cabaret Night is on Friday, Jan. 10, at 6:30 p.m., and it’s sure to once again fill to capacity. This after-hours special evening performance of jazz standards will feature the wonderful stylings of vocalist Teresa Broadwell and her accomplished quintet.
Relax with a glass of wine, appetizers, and soothing music to usher in the weekend on a pleasant note. Please register for this program online, by phone or in person (space is limited), and bring a photo I.D. if you’re planning to enjoy a glass of wine.
GPL Adventures: Move It!
Children in third through fifth grades are invited to participate in this kinetic-based after-school program as GPL Adventures encourages them to “Move It!” on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 3:30 p.m.
Among the fun activities planned, we’ll be running, jumping, competing for fun and working as a team with jump ropes, hula hoops, stretchy bands, and maybe even a parachute! Please register online, by phone or in person.
New Streaming Service
We’re excited to launch RBDigital, the only library streaming service that allows you to binge-watch your favorites!
