Bethlehem Library Notes for Thursday, November 7, 2013
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 6:30 p.m., the board of the Bethlehem Public Library will meet. This meeting is open to the public.
Book discussion
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. Afterdinner Books will meet at the library to discuss Wild: from lost to found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed. New members are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the information desk. Audio copies may also be available.
Lego Club
On Thursday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m., join us a the library for Lego fun. We supply the Legos, you supply the imagination. Try Lego challenges and build friendships. This program is for kids and their families.
Guest speaker
On Friday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m., News 10 meteorologist, Steve Caporizzo will talk about his two great passions: forecasting the weather and rescuing homeless pets. Cosponsored by Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc. and open to seniors and other interested adults.
Trivia night
On Monday, Nov. 18, at 6:30 p.m. come to the library for Trivia Night. Enter as a team of 5 to 8 people to answer 100 questions from 10 categories. Doors open at 6 p.m., contest starts at 6:30 p.m. Call 439-9314 on or after Nov. 1 to sign up. This program is for adults and teens age 16 and up.
Friends meet
On Monday, Nov.18, at 7 p.m., the Friends of the Bethlehem Public Library will meet. This meeting is open to the public.
Paws to Read
On Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 3:45 to 5 p.m., drop in and read to Kitty, a gentle dog who loves stories. For kids in grades 1 through 5.
