Bethlehem Library Notes for Thursday, August 29, 2013
On Friday, Sept. 6, at 10:30 a.m., come to the Bethlehem Public Library for dog story time. We will enjoy stories about our fabulous furry friends, and a special fuzzy guest. This program is for children age 3 to 6.
Alzheimer’s
On Friday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m., the library’s Alzheimer’s series will be Know the 10 Signs, presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and Community Caregivers.
Daybooks
On Monday, Sept. 9, at 1:30 p.m., the book discussion group will be on God’s Hotel by Victoria Sweet. New members are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the information desk; audio copies may also be available.
Board meets
On Monday, Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m., the library board will meet. This meeting is open to the public.
Afterdinner Books
On Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m., Afterdinner Books will discuss Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver. New members are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the information desk; audio copies may also be available.
Building challenge
On Thursday, Sept. 12, at 3:45 p.m., come to the library for the Building Challenge: Spaghetti Towers. Build a tall structure with 20 sticks of spaghetti, 10 marshmallows, and 20 minutes. Take the STEM challenge. Call 439-9314 to sign up. For kids in grade 1 through 5.
Music and movement
On Friday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m., come to the library to sing, dance, and play an instrument. This program is for children ages 2 to 6 and their families.
Teen advisory group
On Friday, Sept. 13, at 3:30 p.m., TAG will meet to talk about teen programs and activities at the library. For kids in grades 6 through 12.
