Fizz, Boom, Tang!

On Thursday, July 31, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bethlehem Public Library, The Tang Teaching Museum will explore movement, center of gravity, and balance in artwork. Figure out how to make free-standing mixed-media creations. This program is for children in grades one and up. Please call 439-9314 to sign up.

Also on Thursday, July 31, at 2:30 p.m., Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners Virginia Dorwaldt and Ronnie Siegel will be on hand for Tom Darbyshire’s story, a garden activity, and Gazpacho. This program is for children ages six through eight with an adult. Please call to sign up.

On Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m., Five Rivers staff will help us identify New York’s species, poisonous and not. This program is for families.

Creative stitches

On Monday, August 4 through Friday August 8, at 9:30 a.m. to noon, Members of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America help with embroidery projects. Attendance at all five sessions is required. This program is for children ages 9 and up. Please call to sign up.

Tabletop Gaming Night

Also on Monday, August 4, at 6:30 p.m., drop in for games and snacks. This program is for adults and teens ages 16 and up.

Fun erupts at the library

On Tuesday, August 5, at 2:30 p.m., build a volcano and set it to erupt. This is for children in Kindergarten and up with caregiver. Call to sign up.

Also on Tuesday, August 5, at 7 p.m., longtime educators Felicia Bordick, Carol Ann Margolis, and Lynne Shatsoff share ideas for tech-savvy interaction with the younger set. This program is for grandparents, parents, and caregivers.

On Wednesday, August 6, at 2 p.m., compete in crazy games that you have got to get done in 60 seconds! This is for children in grades six through 12.
