Bethlehem Library Notes for Thursday, February 27, 2014

On Friday, Feb. 28, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., come to the Bethlehem Public Library’s community room to hang out, be yourself, and talk with your friends. Games, crafts, and snacks are available. For kids in grade six through 12.

A Little Sunday Music

On Sunday, March 2, at 2 p.m., come to the library and enjoy Zephyr Wind Quintet, a new chamber group led by flutist John Van Voris.

Knit One, Purl One

On Sunday, March 2, at 2 p.m., bring a current project or, if you’re a beginner, bring size eight knitting needles; we’ll provide some yarn to get you started. This program is for adults and children age nine and up.

Gaming night

On Monday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m., drop into the library for games and snacks. Adults and teens age 16 and up are welcome.

Lego Club

On Tuesdays, March 4 through April 29, at 4 p.m., come to the library we supply the Legos, you supply the imagination. Try Lego challenges and build friendships. This program is for kids and families. A reminger there is no Lego Club on April 15.

Pajama Rama

On Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m., join us for bedtime stories and fun for children up to age six and their families.

Living healthy

On Wednesdays, March 5 through April 9, from 9:30 a.m. to noon the library will have a workshop series for adults dealing with a chronic disease or limiting health condition, offered in partnership with Living Healthy NY and Community Caregivers. Signup is required; call 442-5585 or e-mail .

Tai Chi for Health

On Wednesdays, March 5 through April 30, at 11 a.m., learn a set of basic movements accessible to all ages and abilities. No prior experience is necessary. Wear loose clothing and smooth-soled shoes. A reminder there is no class on April 16.
