Bethlehem Library Notes for Friday, January 3, 2014
On Thursday, Jan. 2, at 10:30 a.m., come to the Bethlehem Public Library and learn and practice basic yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. This program is designed just for kids ages 6 through 9 with an adult.
Pokemon
On Thursday, Jan. 2, at 2 p.m., bring your cards, action figures and favorite fantasy games to the library. This program is for kids kindergarten through grade 12.
Kid improv
On Friday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m., learn about improvisation and try your hand at some theater games at the library. For kids in grades one and up.
Knit one, purl one
On Sunday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m., bring a current project or, if you’re a beginner, bring size eight knitting needles to the library; we’ll provide some yarn to get you started. This program is for adults and children age nine and up.
Gaming night
On Monday, Jan. 6, at 6:30 p.m., drop in to the library for games and snacks. Adults and teens age 16 and up are welcome.
Teen advisory group
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 3:30 p.m., TAG will meet to talk about teen programs and activities at the library. For kids in grade 6 through 12.
Afterdinner books
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m., the Afterdinner books group will discuss The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman. New members are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the information desk. Audio copies may also be available.
