The initial Friday Night Open Mic Night was a well-rounded success last week. Audience members enjoyed being entertained. The performers were prepared and polished. Potluck plans

This month’s Potluck Round the World destination is Japan. The high point will be our Mount Fujiama. Please let us know if you’re coming and what you’re bringing. The party is planned for Monday, March 24, at 6 p.m.

Couch 2 5K

This spring, the library will sponsor a 10-week program in which participants meet 3 times a week to prepare for a spring 5k race. Our end date will coincide with the Friehoffer’s Run for Women on June 1. Our schedule will be determined by the needs of the participants, but will likely include 2-weekday sessions at 4:30 p.m., which will include a babysitter, and a weekend morning session.

We’ll start things off with an Interest Meeting on Monday, March 31, at 4:30 p.m.  That gives you lots of time to rev yourselves up. Let’s do it.

Kid’s double header

On Wednesday, March 26, at 2 and 3 p.m., (Superintendent’s Conference Day) we’ll be offering Kids Trivia and Squishy Circuits.  Squishy Circuits is a unique toy that allows kids of all ages to create circuits and explore electronics using play dough. You already know what Trivia is.

Here’s your answer to the “There’s nothing to do” refrain.  In fact there’s lots to do.
