Sarah Teresa Bjork, a junior majoring in cell and developmental biology at the University of Rochester. Bjork, a resident of Voorheesville, is the daughter of Stephen and Mary Bjork, and a graduate of Clayton A. Bouton High School in Voorheesville;

Nicholas M. Tariello, a senior majoring in applied music (percussion) at the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester. He is the son of Patricia Tariello, and a graduate of Guilderland High School;

Mackenzie Cietek, from Schenectady, at Villanova University in Pennsylvania;

Sarah Madden, from Voorheesville, at Villanova University in Pennsylvania;

Kyra Malamood, from Guilderland, at Villanova University in Pennsylvania;

Anya Therese Joynt, a freshman majoring in molecular genetics at the University of Rochester. She is the daughter of Theresa Joynt and Patrick Joynt, and a graduate of Guilderland High School;

Lauren Wilson, the daughter of Alida Crisafulli and Laurence Wilson of Berne at the Syracuse University School of Architecture. She graduated from Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School in 2009;

VOORHEESVILLE — The Voorheesville Community Preschool is hosting an open house on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The preschool has open enrollment programs for our 3-year-olds and for 4-year-olds.  

GUILDERLAND — New children’s books are being collected for “Project: Cameron’s Story,” a not-for-profit organization that collects books for families of babies in the neonatal intensive care unit at more than a dozen area hospitals.
