McCoy elected Northeast VP of CEA

Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy was elected the Northeast Region vice president of the County Executives of America at its annual conference in New Orleans. This year’s conference coincided with the annual conference of the National Association of Counties.

“Dan McCoy’s impressive leadership represents the future of county government in the United States,” said Mike Griffin, executive director of the National Association of Counties, in a release from the association.  “He brings to the position a youthful and an innovative style of tackling the problems that will greatly benefit our National Association as it has already benefitted Albany County.”
McCoy said he would “highlight the challenges and opportunities our Northeastern communities face as we seek new and innovative ways to improve the quality of life of the people we serve.”
