EPA-certified renovators to be listed

Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County is compiling a list of renovators certified by the federal Environmental Protection Agency to be published in a print and online directory.

Completed directory forms must be received by Monday, March 16.

Renovators who are employed by or own an EPA-registered firm should contact Nancy Lerner by email at [email protected] or by phone at 765-3521 to receive a copy of the required form. Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County also has the directory form on its website at http://albany.cce.cornell.edu/home-family/lead-education-prevention.

The directory is an opportunity to promote EPA-certified renovators who use lead-safe work practices to reduce lead poisoning.

There is no charge for this project. Directories will be distributed to area households, community organizations, and agencies.
