St. John's Schedule for Sunday, October 6

The worship schedule at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 140 Maple Ave., in Altamont on Sunday, Oct. 6, with a special guest, is as follows:

— 8:30 a.m., informal worship with modern and ethnic hymns and a discussion format sermon;

— 11 a.m., traditional service, with traditional pipe organ accompaniment and choral music I Come with Joy performed by the St. John’s singers;

The preacher is Rev. Gregory Zajac, who will present a sermon “Holy Communion Through the Five Senses” based on Mark 14:22-26.
