Workfit Medical acquires Albany’s Concentra

As of Sept. 20, WorkFit Medical LLC completed the acquisition of Concentra’s Medical and Urgent Care Center in Albany.

WorkFit Medical will continue to operate at the former Albany Concentra facility at 1971 Western Ave. The hours of operation at the Western Avenue facility will remain the same, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends, Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Appointments for all occupational health services must be scheduled. No appointments are necessary for drug screens or urgent-care patients.

In addition to offering occupational injury care, drug and alcohol testing, pre-employment and annual physicals, WorkFit Medical offers on-site health and safety training, staffing services, and comprehensive health service programs.
