Princetown Annual Recycle Day, Bottle Drive for Mr. Mo Project, and more.

Got Junk? Well….. get rid of it on Saturday April 29, 2017 at Princetown Town Hall from 8 p.m. to Noon. PEAC (Princetown Environmental Advisory Committee) will conduct its annual Recycle Day. Get rid of unwanted metal junk items such as water heaters, wheels, lawn mowers, and appliances etc. Sorry, we cannot accept items containing Freon such as AC units, freezers, or dehumidifiers, as these items must have Freon removed by a professional. Tires and wheels will be accepted. A fee will be charged based on size of the tire.

A bottle drive for the benefit of the Mr. Mo Project for senior dog rescue will also be conducted.

Cornell Cooperative Extension will be on hand to offer the advice of a Master Gardener and to offer free soil testing. Bring a measuring cup sample of soil from a depth of 6 inches. Also exhibiting will be Environmental Clearinghouse of Schenectady and Solar Liberty .
