Full Moon Hike/Sunset Symphony

Date:
Thursday, April 25, 2013 (All day)
Location:
Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center

Enjoy the Pine Bush at night with an hour-long hike under the full moon while listening for the creatures that utter the peeps, chirps, and trills so familiar in spring. Join us on a one-mile evening walk at Kings Highway Barrens to listen for the spring sunset symphony and identify the calls of the frogs and toads responsible for these seasonal sounds. This walk will not be canceled in the event of rain. Meet at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center, 195 New Karner Road, at 7 p.m. The fee is $3 per person or $5 per family, and registration is required; call 456-0655.
