The Bald Eagle Returns

Date:
Saturday, January 23, 2016 (All day)
Location:
Guilderland Public Library

At 2:30 p.m. Tom Lake, DEC's Hudson River Estuary Program Naturalist, will present a program on Hudson Valley Bald Eagles. Since 1782, the Bald Eagle has been our national bird. However, the intervening years nearly drove them to extinction. Fortunately, conservation efforts have brought them back. Now you may see an eagle anywhere in the Hudson Valley.

Before Tom's talk, kids can make an origami bird and participate in fun activities with the Audubon Society's interactive board.
