“Flight Paths” Talk and Book Signing. 2 p.m. A pair of peregrine falcons spent the summer at Thacher Park and a family of bald eagles is frequently seen at Thompson’s Lake. These species were brought back from near extinction and are now thriving because of ground-breaking work done here in New York. Author Darryl McGrath will talk about her book, which recounts the trials and tribulations of people dedicated to the survival of bird species at risk. Books will be available for purchase.
