NEW SCOTLAND — Peter Gansevoort Ten Eyck II, a farmer on the forefront of sustainable agriculture, worked throughout his life to raise public awareness of the critical importance of local agriculture.

Dennis Robert Porter

BERNE — Dennis “Denny” Robert Porter of Berne, a mail clerk who loved his family and who found joy in simple pleasures, died on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at The Grand at Guilderland. He was 68.

He was born on Oct. 30, 1956, a son of the late Robert Porter and the late Esther (née Lee) Porter.

Barbara D. Quint

Barbara D. Quint, a strong and fiercely independent woman, school psychologist and psychotherapist, mother of three, and long-time resident of Guilderland and Delmar, died at home in September after long illnesses. She was 91.
