GUILDERLAND — The Caring Closet is getting some help from a shopping crawl at Stuyvesant Plaza.

The not-for-profit Closet, started by Guilderland Councilwoman Amanda Beedle, provides hygiene products to public school students and their families.

Weaver Lori Kichanski explores the intersection of art and culture with her work.

She is heading a project called “Weaving Stories” at the Underground Railroad Education Center in Albany.
