B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation in Albany will host an evening of harmony and hope with inspirational music and international dance in a fundraiser to benefit the citizens of Ukraine on Saturday, May 21, in the synagogue at 420 Whitehall Road.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Wild blue lupine, the native wildflower that blooms in May and June and is critical to the survival of the endangered Karner blue butterfly, will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21, at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center.

The center is located at 195 New Karner Road and the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Quilts will be displayed for the public on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Knox Town Hall, at 2192 Berne-Altamont Road, as part of the town’s year-long bicentennial celebration.
