WESTERLO — Garner Furman died suddenly on Sunday May 17, 2020. He was 8 years old.

NEW SCOTLAND — John Livingston was a proud and accomplished man who served his country in war. And, like so many growing up amid the Great Depression, he was shaped by it but still came away with “some great stories.” 

Mr. Livingston died Friday, May 15, 2020. He was 93.

Cecile A. Durfee of Witherbee, New York “peacefully went to Heaven on Friday, May 8, 2020, with family by her side,” her daughter wrote in a tribute. She was 91.

GUILDERLAND — Michael R. Hennet, known as “The Hammer” for closing deals, was a charismatic salesman who connected with firefighters across the country as he demonstrated safety gear. But he always put his family first.

GUILDERLAND — Doris E. Marsh, a long-time resident of Guilderland, died peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020. She was 96.

NEW SALEM — Eleanor Marie “Ellie” DeVellis, “was peacefully reunited in heaven with her husband, father, and mother on Wednesday, May 6, 2020,” her family wrote in a tribute. She was 88.

WESTERLO — Clifford J. Fisher Jr., a World War II veteran and an all-around handyman, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 4, 2020, surrounded by family. He was 93,

ALTAMONT — Craig Ciaccio was an exuberant person who liked being his own boss. He made friends throughout his life at whatever enterprises he was part of. He was a loyal son who loved Altamont.
