Poet Philomena Moriarty will read at the Social Justice Center at 7:30 p.m. 33 Central Ave., Albany. Philomena lives in East Greenbush and was a long time member of the Voorheesville Thursday Night Poets. Annual meeting: The local work group of the Natural Resources Conservation Service will focus on identifying agricultural and natural resource issues existing in the local community and providing information and feedback to direct NRCS programs. “Historic Lansingburgh”: Michael Barrett will be opening a series at the Van Schaick Island Country Club, 201 Continental Ave, Cohoes, with his lecture on the 13th of December. His lecture details the history of this area in an intriguing and fun way. Learn more about this area before it became a part of Troy. 6:30 p.m.
