GUILDERLAND — Nine Guilderland High School students were selected for this year’s All State Music Ensembles: Angelo Amore, Leonard Bopp, Andrew Dame, Therese Giordano, Hannah Hernandez, Josh Kahn, Will Wang, Allegra Wu, and Michael Zhu.

GUILDERLAND — Troop 50 from St. Madeleine Sophie Parish held a Court of Honor on Wednesday, Sept. 24, to award the merit badges earned during the summer and at summer camp as well as award rank advancements.

The Pine Bush Preserve is holding a photography contest for pictures taken at the preserve.

The photos must be submitted to the juried exhibit by Oct. 5.

Entrants may be any age or skill level: beginner, advanced, or professional. Jurors will select a diversity of photos to be included in the final exhibit on Nov. 2.

Students from Altamont Cooperative Preschool visited Indian Ladder Farms in New Scotland to celebrate fall.

GUILDERLAND — During the month of October, The UPS Store, at 1971 Western Ave. in Guilderland, is celebrating its 25-year silver anniversary.  To honor the occasion and demonstrate its continued commitment to the community, the store is hosting a month-long celebration.
